Nature is our best teacher, and our best healer. Animals are able to calm us and to lift our spirits in ways conventional methods cannot. They love unconditionally, and have an instinctive capacity to identify when we are in need of assistance. They have been shown to reduce blood pressure, to ground emotions, and can soften the physiological effects of difficult traumatic restoration.
